The Smell of Willow ~ Who knew?

I burn candles day and night. I especially love the warm ambiance they offer after the sun goes down.

I don't always burn scented candles, but whenever I  do, I want them to smell yummy. (Have you ever bought a scented candle and could hardly smell a thing? Hate when that happens.)

Not long ago, Rosy Revival, began selling Aadley & Co. scented candles. I'd never tried them, so I bought one called "White Pear." I loved it, but after my daughter fell in love with it, too, I did what any decent mother would do: I gave it to her.

My next purchase was called, "Willow," and believe me it is magical. I wasn't sure what to expect, but there is a scent of vanilla, with touches of lavender, orange and jasmine, and the best thing about these candles is how they fill up the entire house with their goodness. If you love scented candles, you must try this brand.

Candles have always been one of my favorite things, and "Willow" may take the top prize.

  2. Oh, a new scent! Willow sounds wonderful. I love a subtly scented candle and you're right, I am unhappy when I buy a scented candle and I can smell nothing!

Thanks so much for joining in this week.

    1. Well, Claudia, there's nothing subtle about this brand of candles. They really put out the fragrance. Very strong smells, but I like to have a few like that around.

  4. I will look for that one! I don't like candles that smell really "sweet and fruity". You know how sometimes you walk in somewhere and the smell is almost sickeningly sweet? But-this one sounds wonderful and I LOVE the name. Hope you have a great weekend-xo Diana

    1. I don't like extra fruity candles either. This one is just right for my tastes, but might be too sweet for some. It has a great blend of fragrances.

    1. I love the "foodie" candles, too. My favorite apple pie and pumpkin spice.

  6. Oh, Dayle.

    I love candles, too.

Wonder where those candles you mention are made. Never saw that brand here. I'll have to check and see if they have a website.

A candle I have burning now is orange/cinnamon by Village and it's heavenly. Take care and have a wonderful Saturday. Susan

  7. I love candles but have an allergy to many scents! :( So you'll have to enjoy them for me, ok?

  8. I agree they really warm up a home. Because of our dogs I like to burn them too.

  9. I also love candles and one of my favorites in the past have been the pear scents. Not too sweet, just wonderful. This willow sounds terrific. One tip I I will share with everyone is that I have started (after leaving a candle glowing all night...oops) setting a timer as a reminder to blow out my candles. Can't be too careful!

    1. Good idea. My niece left one burning once and it almost ended in disaster. Thank the Lord it was found in the nick of time.

  10. I always had candles going too - and then I got cats. Candles and cats are definitely not a good mix, no more candles for me :(

I'm really intrigued by the Aadley & Co. brand and can't wait to see what other yummy aromas they offer!

  14. Dayle,
Thank you so much for visiting me at He Cares for Us. I left you a note but I never know whether people come back to read them. Wanted you to know I am praying for you and your parents. May this time be a blessing to all of you.
I am afraid I never got into the candle thing - must be my allergies and sensitivities to smells. But a plain candle burning can be a great focal point to start to talk to God.

  15. I am a minimalist in everything but candles. I have one cupboard devoted to votives and candles of all sizes plus holders. I love scented candles the most! Found you from Claudia's Linkup.
