As I write, darkness has fallen. The porch lights have been turned on and a moon hangs full in the Eastern sky.
I like to think of the moon as God’s eternal nightlight—a comforting thought. Even more comforting, nobody on earth can put out the light of the moon. It will remain on for us as long as God orders it to be so.
