A Little TLC Goes a Loooong Way

When we moved into our home in 1989, the side of the garage, as you can see, registered a big fat zero on the scale of design.

But with a can of paint, and a bit of imagination, miracles can happen.

I've made changes to this area during the 24 years we've lived here, but seeing these two photos from the past always make me smile.

It's amazing what a little TLC can do.

Here's wishing my peeps a blessed Friday.

I'm linking up with Kate for Flaunt it Friday.

  2. What a cute improvement, that first photo shows a wall that was so dull and the second is full of charm.

  7. Hi Dayle! What a beautiful comparison! The wall doesn't even look like a garage, it's really more of a canvas for your creativity. So much more peaceful to look at, isn't it?

    Nice to see you!

  9. It really does make such a big difference! I call it "The Power of ER". I believe that anything can be made bett-er, clean-er, loveli-er etc. with just a little TLC.

But now, the real reason I'm commenting is because I just found your post about sisters. I didn't know if you would see a comment on that post since I'm late so I'm going to tell you here: I LOVED that. I didn't know it was Sister's Day recently. Where have I been? Living in a cave? You and your sisters are just beautiful to me, and even though I haven't had a chance to see into the heart of your older sister, I have a feeling it is just as beautiful as the ones you and the twin have.
