An Address Change ~ Please Don't Leave Me

Dear kindred spirits,

I've been making changes to this blog for a few weeks now, a little here, a little there. My goal is to, eventually, perhaps, maybe, do away with my official website (www.dayleshockley.com), which costs me a bit of money every year to keep it hosted and tweaked. It's not a big deal, really, but it's something I'm considering.

Having said that, I've changed the web address of this blog. It can now be found at http://dayleallenshockley.blogspot.com/. By changing the link, you can no longer find me at the other address, which means I hope I don't lose my dear blogging friends. The change has also made it necessary for me to seek you out again and add you to my sidebar, which will take me some time. It doesn't help that we are having terrible Internet connections on this road trip, but it's a problem that should resolve soon.

I must sign off for now. I will post more about this, if the need arises. In the meantime, I hope to see your smiling faces here soon.

Kind regards,
Dayle

  1. We are here! We are here! That's the sound of Debbie Loo Who from the dust speck on the end of Horton's nose. I'm so glad I found the new blog address. (And thank you, blog friend, for missing me!)

  6. I'm wondering about whether friends will follow along on my new blog, too.
It's hard to keep up with all of it.
I'm hoping everyone will subscribe so my posts will go to their email. :) that would make things run smoothly!

  9. I have been trying to fix you on my sideboard, and Mr. Google will not let me. Grrrrr. No matter how many times I put in the new address, it comes up with the old one. I will keep on trying. Seems like everything is wonky in computer land these days.

    1. Yeah ... that's a problem right now. I read that it takes time, after you change the URL, for the blog address to be "re-indexed," so maybe it will sort itself out, in time. I hope so, but won't hold my breath.

    1. My research indicates Blogger is having issues with updating gadgets right now, so hopefully it will be resolved.

  14. I've discovered that the inability to update gadgets has nothing to do with my address change (whew) but is a widespread blogger issue that has been sporadic since September. Because of this, you will be unable to add my new blog address to your blog roll until this problem is fixed by the people at blogger. Hope it's sooner than later.

  15. I was wondering where you'd gone... in the blogosphere. I've been having fun catching up with you!

I'm blogging again on Kelley Highway, too, after a lengthy sabbatical. Be safe and enjoy the journey!

    Happy weekend,
    Kelley~
