So lovely, my friend.Such cozy images of a favorite time. They made me warm and cozy this chilly, November morning. : )
Lovely pictures, Dayle. I don't know that I've ever seen your fireplace before? Beautiful. It's beginning to get pretty nippy around here so it actually feels like fall. Now if only the mosquitoes would die off!
You have a charming home, Dayle, and I love your fireplace! I'm happy you have linked up with me and it's nice to 'meet' another sister in the Lord. Thank you for sharing and enjoy your day.Autumn blessings,Sandi
Love. Every. Photo. :)
Beautiful images, Dayle. My very favorite season, too. xo Diana
What beautiful, beautiful photos. I love the mantel decor. The framed leaves are lovely. Did you make that yourself? I'd love to know how you did that; did you press the leaves first? And how are they adhered to the paper? It's so simple, yet so striking!
Thank you, Mrs. T, for your visit today and your kind words. The leaves have been in that frame since 1992. They are a special memento from my daughter's childhood. You can read about them here. http://dayleallenshockley.blogspot.com/2013/10/poignant-memories-of-autumn-repeat.html
And there is no adhesive on the leaves. They've miraculously stayed put on the black mat all these years.
SO nice. Thank-you for inspiring me to take a fresh look at my surroundings:)
Beautiful pictures and thoughts. Fall will always be my favorite season!
Loved your photos, Dayle. Your table looks nice and shiny! I love the fall but not what follows. Susan
I smell the candles and hear the fire. Yes, November is a time to stop and feel.
