An Executive Decision

I have made an executive decision. I am taking a week off from blogging, a week in which I plan to rest, reflect, and roll with whatever comes my way.

The Simple Pleasures series will return on April 28th, and I hope to see you there.

I'm linking to my Easter post from last year. It contains the beautiful voice of my identical twin sister, singing an Easter song she penned some years ago. If you missed it last year, I think it's worth a listen (but of course I would). :)

Until next time, sweet blogging friends, have a blessed Easter week. Christ arose! Let's celebrate!

  1. Amen to that Sister Dayle! This is Holy week and it is a good thing to take a break and just relax. Good executive decision.

  2. I just went to hear the song. You have the MOST talented family! I can't remember hearing Gayle sing before. I've seen some of her songs, but I feel like it was another voice singing. Maybe I'm wrong.

Hers is wonderful and I love her song!

As for you, have a blessed rest and a beautiful Easter.

  7. Have a lovely sabbatical, Dayle. Thanks for linking to the post from last year. I remembered the song, but couldn't remember where you had posted it. Lovely.

  8. Dayle, I've just listened to your sister sing her song. I thought it was beautiful, her voice is so sweet and mellow and her talent is obvious.

I've been away from things for a little while and am just catching up with everything.

I've never seen a blue orchid, ever. I can see why your jaw dropped, it is gorgeous. Last week's Simple Pleasure, a lunch under the gazebo couldn't have been more perfect. A beautiful photo of it too!

    Have a wonderfull week.
    Kathleen.
